Easiest Pizza Dough:

This pizza dough is easy to make (even easier if you have a stand mixer). I like to make this dough the day before pizza night to save time and dishes the night of a pizza party. 


  •  1 packet active dry yeast
  •  1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  •  3 cups all-purpose flour


Combine yeast, sugar and water in a bowl and allow the yeast to activate (e.g., start to foam, about ten minutes). Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl,  add yeast when ready. Knead dough until it is the same consistency throughout, let proof at room temperature for 2 hours.

If you are not planning on using the dough right away then, after 2 hours of proofing put dough in the fridge. Make sure to allow dough to sit at room temperature for a half an hour before using.
